Occupancy / motion sensors

Occupancy sensors also commonly referred to as motion sensors/presence detectors are inexpensive energy-saving devices that automatically turn off lighting in unoccupied spaces. They are designed to pick up small movements of employees while working.

These sensors also come with a lux detector which means that when there is enough natural light in the office, the lights stay off even with occupied. This is an extra function in energy saving.

Note: Quantities of occupancy sensors required for installation in facilities are always subject to survey of the building because of the coverage area of an occupancy sensor.
