Why lubrication training is important.
A trained lubrication team can be the difference between a successful plant and one that is struggling with high maintenance costs. It’s obviously worth investing in. If you are considering having your team trained, you are probably looking to improve maintenance team performance. Our lubrication training is the best training for you to realize this goal. But why?
Our lubrication training course prepares your team for the real plant situation. Most training courses cover only understanding lubricants and assume that you are ready to go. Unfortunately, this is far from the truth. A lot of technical personnel have been trained on lubrication but do not see or know the results they expect. Impactful lubrication training is more than that. It is using expert knowledge and tools to help you develop the skills required to avoid component failures and improve your plant performance.
In our lubrication training course, you get to see and practice these lubrication skills. You practically get to understand what different oil viscosities mean and the applications. You learn what makes greases are different. You also learn why specific applications in your industry require speciality lubricants. And finally, we let you come up with your own lubrication management strategies for your plant success.
We also share with you industry insight, success stories and case studies from leading industrial plants. You get to learn what others have done to achieve meaningful gains in their plant maintenance. After taking our lubrication training course, you will now be in a position to implement the same skills and tactics they have applied to become successful.
Who requires this training?
Whether you are a plant manager, engineer, supervisor, lubrication technician or maintenance specialist, this course is meant for you. We take pride in the fact that we have helped many industrial plants overcome their maintenance and production challenges. So can you.

Training kits in detail
Training Kit
Kit Name
Description
Learning Target

Tool 1 – Oil Kit
Introduction to the behaviour of different oils and viscosities
Convey basic knowledge of lubricating greases and their possible applications; knowledge about different grease structures.

Tool 2 – Grease Kit
Demonstration and explanation of different thicknesses (NLGI grades) of greases
Convey basic knowledge of lubricating greases and their possible applications; knowledge about different grease structures.

Tool 3 – Spraying Kit
Illustration of friction reduction, wear reduction and reliable operation
Learning the different sliding speeds and friction coefficients. Spray patterns differ depending on the lubricant used.

Tool 4 – Chain Kit
Demonstration of correct lubrication of a chain
Prevent under- or over-lubrication. In addition, create user awareness of the risk of product contamination and which aspects require particular attention.

Tool 5 – Bearing Kit
Demonstration of how rolling bearings can either be re-lubricated automatically by means of lubricant dispensers or manually by lever grease gun
Knowing the various possible applications of rolling bearing lubricants. Hands-on training for handling lever grease guns and learning which quantities are used per stroke.
