RELIABILITY ASSESSMENTS
It is a site visit where a Droplex technical advisor assesses your plant’s lubrication systems, fluid transfer systems, and/or detection systems. We identify the issues or highest-risk failure points and discuss it with you. We then issue a written report with specific recommendations within five working days of the visit.

LUBRICATION
If you are experiencing recurring bearing or gearbox failures, high lubricant consumption, or equipment running hotter than it should — the lubricant is likely wrong for the application. The right lubricant has to be matched to the specific load, speed, temperature, and environment of each application point. Request a Reliability Assessment, and we will review your current lubrication programme with you to ensure that each application point is correctly matched to the correct lubricant.
Standard lubricants are formulated for general industrial applications. Specialty lubricants are engineered for specific conditions — extreme temperatures, high loads, food contact, open gear drives, or corrosive environments. Using a standard lubricant where a specialty lubricant formulation is required accelerates wear and increases failure risk.
NSF H1 lubricants are certified safe for incidental contact with food or beverage products. They are required at any lubrication point in a food or beverage plant where contact with the product is possible. Using a non-certified food-grade lubricant at these points is a food safety and audit risk.
An automated lubrication system that delivers the correct quantity of grease or oil to each lubrication point automatically, at set intervals, without operator intervention. It eliminates the inconsistency of manual lubrication — which is the most common cause of bearing failures in plants that rely on manual maintenance routines.

FLUID TRANSFER
A diaphragm pump uses a flexible membrane to move fluid — making it suitable for aggressive chemicals, viscous fluids, and applications where contamination must be avoided. Wilden diaphragm pumps are the standard for chemical transfer, food-grade fluid handling, and applications where a centrifugal pump would fail or contaminate the product.
Yes. We design and install chemical fluid transfer systems using FLUX and Wilden pumping equipment — for drum transfer, IBC transfer, and process line feeding across chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing environments.
DETECTION SYSTEMS
Fixed gas detection systems for continuous area monitoring, portable gas detectors for personal protection and confined space entry, and alcohol detection systems for workplace safety programmes. We also supply tank overfill prevention and grounding systems for fuel and chemical storage.
A gas detector that has not been calibrated cannot be trusted to prevent an incident. Calibration verifies that the sensor is responding accurately to the target gas at the correct concentration levels. An uncalibrated detector may fail to raise an alarm in a real gas exposure event. Droplex provides commissioning, training, repair, and ongoing calibration for every detection system we install. We support other brands as well.
At a minimum, once every six months and after any event where the detector may have been exposed to high concentrations of the target gas, physical impact, or extreme temperature. Some regulatory environments require more frequent calibration. We advise based on your specific system and operating environment.

Yes. Technical training is part of every system we install. We do not commission and leave — we stay. For detection systems, training is essential because a system is only as effective as the people using it. We also provide standalone lubrication training programmes for maintenance teams.
Yes. We assess what is already in place before recommending anything new. Where existing equipment can be optimised or refurbished — as with our automated lubrication system refurbishment case studies — we do that rather than recommending unnecessary replacement.
