How a magnetic drive
pump works.
- Motor drives the outer magnet
The motor shaft connects to an outer rotating drive magnet outside the containment shell. - Magnetic coupling transfers torque contactlessly
The outer magnet drives an inner magnet through the containment shell wall; no physical contact, no shaft penetration. - Inner magnet drives the impeller
The inner magnet, inside the sealed pump chamber, drives the impeller to move the fluid. - Containment shell hermetically isolates the fluid
The pump chamber and drive are completely sealed. No shaft passes through. No seal to fail. No leakage path exists.

Suitale for higher pressures, higher temperatures, or where plastic materials reach their chemical limits. ATEX-certified versions are available. MAGSON MML, MMT.
